Weezer Announce ‘White Album’ Deluxe Edition With Four New Songs
Weezer announced Wednesday they will revisit their latest self-titled LP – dubbed the White Album – this Friday as a digital-only deluxe edition packed with four new non-album tracks.
In addition to the NASA-celebrating “I Love the USA” that Rivers Cuomo and company dropped in June, the deluxe White Album also features a remix of that LP’s “Jacked Up” with Fitz & the Tantrums and Pussy Riot’s Nadya.
The release also boasts two new tracks: “Friend of a Friend” and “Fake Smiles and Nervous Laughter,” which is also Weezer’s contribution to an upcoming split 7″ with Wavves; the surf punk band covers Weezer’s Pinkerton-era B-side “You Gave Me Your Love Softly” for the release… Continue Reading
